About
Melanie Weiss, M.Ed.
Melanie was first drawn to students with learning disabilities while doing a practicum with special ed students in college. After raising three sons, she obtained her Washington teaching certification as well as additional extensive training for working with students with reading and writing disabilities. She has had a private practice on the Eastside since the late 1990s. More recently Melanie has developed an interest in butterflies. She spends free time volunteering for a citizen science project at Mt. Rainier with net in hand.
